Good Form

lean

Rather than over-striding or reaching with the feet, Good Form Running utilizes a forward lean to propel the body forward. When you lean, gravity causes your body to fall and your foot instinctively steps in the direction of your movement. By reacting to gravity rather than pushing off from the toes, there is less muscle strain in the legs and more automatic forward momentum.

This is contradictory: You forgot to mention and show the bending of the knees, which you mentioned and showed in a section before. And now you show pictures with straight knees! Ain't you supposed to run with slightly bent knees?

If you put your foot first in front of you instead of bringing your body first, you get the same results as the heelstrikers because that is what they do. Seems to me, that you did not understood the principle.

"Good form running" is just another (but worse) copyist of already existing promoters/copyists of running form/tecnique, "selling" things in their name which are out there for more then a decade. How pathetic.

Er, im not sure why you are calling good form running a copyist. It is attempting to share information about running technique, not infringe on copywrite laws. I feel the more websites promoting proper technique, the more people may find out that running really is fun and painless if done correctly.
As far as the lean goes, it is showing that when you lean forward your foot will naturally react to take a step at a certain point. It is not implying to run with extended knees.
Hopefully you learn to deal with your personal frustrations in a way that does not make you look stupid in the future.

If your going to run like this you need a good pair of minimalist shoes such as nb-minimus those with the big padded heels just aren't going to help.

What\'s the difference \'tween \"GFR\", \"Poise Running\" and \"Chi Running\"?
To me all three are pretty much the same.

Shoes

Good Form Running can be achieved in any footwear, but a shoe that encourages a more neutral foot position will be helpful for many runners – particularly those embracing a midfoot strike for the first time.
